Hasselblad XCD 55V

The Hasselblad 55V is in a bit of a weird spot for me, I spent many years with the Leica Q series cameras and so the 38V was a natural replacement and that's the lens I pick up when I want to document. So whenever I've used the 55V it's because I haven't used it for a while, and I'm looking to remind myself why I have it.

Even now, I keep it. Because sometimes - just sometimes - it's the only lens that'll do.

I think it boils down to my dream of using the Hasselblad to document the world (too grandiose), perhaps by portraits, and this lens excels at the environmental portrait. My struggle is putting myself in the position to use it. But I'm not ready to let it go, because when I do follow through, this is the lens I'll need.
