The 7Artisans 25mm f/1.8 is a manual-focus APS-C prime for Fujifilm X-mount (also available in other APS-C mounts), providing a 37.5mm full-frame equivalent perspective. No autofocus. At approximately 150g and 46mm filter thread it is very compact. Twelve aperture blades produce smooth circular bokeh. 0.18m minimum focus distance. Budget manual prime.

The optical design uses 7 elements in 5 groups. Twelve aperture blades produce circular bokeh across a wide aperture range. The 46mm filter thread is compact. At approximately 150g the lens is very lightweight. Minimum focus distance of 0.18m. Manual focus only — no electronic contacts. f/1.8 maximum aperture. APS-C image circle.

The 7Artisans 25mm f/1.8 provides manual fast-prime capability at a fraction of the cost of autofocus equivalents: f/1.8 at 25mm enables low-light APS-C photography and subject separation without the cost of the Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR or XF 23mm f/2 R WR. The twelve-blade aperture is notably high for this price class, producing smooth circular out-of-focus highlights. Manual focus requires live view peaking or magnification on Fujifilm bodies.

On the used market the 7Artisans 25mm f/1.8 is very affordable as a manual-focus APS-C prime.
