Canon's early EF standard-to-tele zoom — basic 35-135mm range from the early EOS era.

The Canon EF 35-135mm f/4-5.6 is an early EF-mount standard-to-telephoto zoom covering 35-135mm on full-frame. It provided a longer range than 28-80mm zooms in a compact package — useful for its era.

Optically basic — acceptable centre sharpness. Variable f/4-5.6 aperture. The 35-135mm range provides more telephoto reach than standard kit zooms. Early EF-mount motor — functional but audible. No image stabilisation.

Canon EF mount with 52mm filter thread. Approximately 340g — lightweight. Full-frame coverage. Plastic construction. Minimum focus distance approximately 130cm. Multiple versions with minor differences.
