Canon 250D with slightly faster IS STM zoom, lightest articulating 4K DSLR with Dual Pixel AF.
The Canon EOS 250D with 18-55mm IS STM is a variant using the older f/3.5-5.6 IS STM zoom rather than the newer f/4-5.6 IS STM. The 250D body provides the same 4K video, Dual Pixel AF, and world's lightest articulating DSLR specification regardless of zoom variant.
The older 18-55mm IS STM has a slightly faster f/3.5-5.6 aperture than the newer f/4-5.6 version, providing marginally more light at the wide end. Both provide IS stabilisation and quiet STM autofocus for video and stills.
Build quality is the same ultra-compact 250D body with articulating touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The older STM zoom provides slightly faster optics than the newer kit lens alternative.
The 250D with older IS STM offers the lightest articulating DSLR with slightly faster zoom at affordable pricing. The minor aperture advantage over the newer zoom variant provides marginally better low-light wide-angle performance.
