Internal 12-bit Cinema RAW Light runs to 7K 60p, with full-frame 3:2 open-gate recording (a Cinema EOS first), 4K up to 120p and 32MP stills in a dedicated photo mode. Dual base ISO of 800/6400 in Canon Log 2 and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II round it out; there are no built-in NDs.

The C50 matters because it brought open-gate RAW and C400-generation colour science down to solo-shooter money, competing with the Sony FX3 while fixing the R5 C's power quirks.
