Canon's ultra-compact APS-C mirrorless — 18MP sensor in a tiny body for casual photographers.
The Canon EOS M10 launched in 2015 as one of Canon's most compact mirrorless cameras, using an 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor in a slim body aimed at smartphone upgraders and casual photographers. It prioritised simplicity and portability over enthusiast features.
The 18MP APS-C sensor delivers decent image quality — clean to ISO 1600. Hybrid CMOS AF II with 49 AF points. 4.6fps burst. Full HD 1080p 30fps video only. Creative Assist mode helps beginners understand exposure settings with easy-to-understand slider controls.
Very compact body at 301g. 3-inch tilting touchscreen for selfies. No EVF. WiFi and NFC. EF-M mount — compatible with EF-M lenses and Canon EF/EF-S via adapter. Single SD card slot. Pop-up flash. USB 2.0 charging.
Very cheap used. EF-M mount is discontinued — Canon moved to RF mount. Limited lens selection in EF-M but EF adapter expands options. The M50 is a much better Canon mirrorless. Only worth considering as a very cheap compact interchangeable-lens camera.
