DJI's flagship sub-249g drone — tri-directional obstacle sensing with 4K/60p and 48MP stills.
The DJI Mini 4 Pro was released in September 2023 as DJI's compact flagship consumer drone, combining 4K/60fps video with 10-bit colour and tri-directional obstacle sensing in a sub-250g airframe. The sub-250g all-up weight keeps it below the drone registration weight threshold in many countries.
48MP 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor. 4K/60fps video with 10-bit D-Log M colour profile support. Tri-directional obstacle sensing (forward, backward, downward). OcuSync 4 (O4) video transmission with up to 20km range. Approximately 249g. Approximately 34-minute maximum flight time. Fixed lens — no interchangeable mount.
The 1/1.3-inch sensor is larger than the 1/2-inch sensor in the previous Mini 3, providing improved low-light dynamic range. The 10-bit D-Log M profile enables HDR-capable colour grading in post. Tri-directional obstacle sensing covers the most common flight directions but leaves sideways and upward directions unprotected, in contrast to the all-directional sensing of the higher-tier Air 3.
On the used market the DJI Mini 4 Pro is a compact 4K drone with regulatory advantages in many jurisdictions from its sub-250g weight. Condition checks: all propeller blades for chips or cracks, 3-axis gimbal freedom of movement, obstacle sensor cleanliness, battery cycle count and health, O4 transmission connectivity range. Fixed lens — no interchangeable mount.
