Vintage wide-angle prime lens for Praktina mount cameras.
The Enna Lithagon 35mm f/3.5 is a wide-angle lens produced by Enna Werk of Munich for the Praktina bayonet mount. The Praktina was an East German SLR camera by KW (Kamera-Werkstätten) Dresden, and the Praktina bayonet is a proprietary mount used exclusively on that system. Enna Werk was a West German independent lens maker that produced lenses for various camera systems.
35mm focal length, f/3.5 maximum aperture, Praktina bayonet mount (proprietary to KW Dresden Praktina cameras), Enna Werk Munich manufacture.
The Praktina system is one of the rarest German SLR camera systems from the 1950s. Lenses for the Praktina mount are extremely hard to find. The Enna Lithagon is a competent wide-angle design from a respected West German independent manufacturer. A collector piece for Praktina system enthusiasts.
Verify Praktina mount compatibility — the Praktina bayonet is not compatible with other camera systems. Inspect for fungus, haze, and coating condition. Check aperture blades. The rarity of the Praktina camera makes testing on a compatible body difficult.
