Fujifilm's folding 6x7 medium-format rangefinder — built with Cosina, also sold as the Bessa III.

The Fujifilm GF670 Professional is a folding medium format rangefinder announced in 2008 (reaching general sale in 2009) and built in partnership with Cosina, which sold the identical camera abroad as the Voigtlander Bessa III. It shoots 120 or 220 film and is switchable between 6x6 and 6x7 formats, and production ran until about 2014.

When closed it is barely thicker than a chunky 35mm compact; the door drops and a bellows-mounted EBC Fujinon 80mm f/3.5 (Heliar-badged on the Voigtlander) extends on folding struts. It offers a coupled rangefinder, aperture-priority auto and manual exposure with a built-in meter, an exposure compensation dial and a leaf shutter - a thoroughly modern take on the classic folder.

The GF670 was a deliberate swansong: a brand-new folding roll-film camera launched deep into the digital era, and the last all-new medium format film rangefinder from a major maker. That story, plus its genuinely pocketable(ish) size and lovely lens, has pushed used values steadily upward, with UK examples now among the priciest fixed-lens medium format cameras.
