Fujifilm's entry-level APS-C mirrorless — 24.2MP Bayer with selfie screen for casual users.
The Fujifilm X-A3 launched in 2016 as an affordable X-mount mirrorless targeting beginners and casual users. It uses a 24.2MP APS-C Bayer sensor — not X-Trans — with a 180-degree tilting screen for selfies.
Image quality is decent — the Bayer sensor with Fujifilm colour science and film simulation modes produces pleasant results. Phase-detect AF added over X-A2. 6fps burst. Full HD 1080p video. Touch AF.
Compact body at 339g. 3-inch 180-degree tilting touchscreen for selfies. No EVF — screen only. WiFi. Bluetooth. X-mount compatibility. Single SD card slot. Built-in flash.
Available used very cheaply. The X-A5 and X-A7 improved further. The X-T100 adds an EVF. For budget entry to Fujifilm X-mount with selfie capability. Check for firmware updates.
