Fujifilm's compact X-mount camera with 40.2MP X-Trans V HR sensor, film dial, and retro styling.
The Fujifilm X-T50 was released in 2024 as a compact APS-C mirrorless featuring the 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor with X-Processor 5, adding a film simulation dial and in-body stabilisation to the compact T-series form factor. 5-axis IBIS rated 7 stops. 6.2K/30fps video; DCI 4K and UHD 4K up to 60fps at 10-bit 4:2:2. NP-W126S battery. At 438g with battery and card it is compact for an IBIS-equipped 40MP APS-C body.
40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor with X-Processor 5. 8fps mechanical; 20fps electronic (1.29x crop at 20fps). 6.2K/30fps internal; DCI 4K and UHD 4K up to 60fps 10-bit 4:2:2. 5-axis IBIS 7 stops. 2.36M-dot OLED EVF. NP-W126S battery. 438g with battery and card. Film simulation dial (second X-series body with dedicated dial after X100VI).
The X-T50 brings the X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor into the mid-tier compact T-series body — the same 40.2MP sensor as the X-T5 — at a lower price point. The film simulation dial reintroduces direct physical simulation selection from the front panel. IBIS at 7 stops enables handheld shooting at slower shutter speeds and video stabilisation without a dedicated stabilised lens. The 20fps electronic burst requires a 1.29x crop.
On the used market the Fujifilm X-T50 is a 2024 product with limited used availability. Condition checks: IBIS operation, NP-W126S battery health (shared with X-T3, X-T4, X-Pro2/3), film simulation dial mechanism, and single SD slot. Compatible with all Fujifilm X-mount lenses.
