Fujifilm Zoom Date 145 — 35mm compact with 38-145mm zoom and date back, 2001.

The Zoom Date 145 is a 35mm film compact from Fujifilm's long-running Zoom Date range, sold in some export markets as the Discovery S1450 Date, that gave casual photographers a long-reach zoom lens with a built-in date-imprinting back around the turn of the millennium.

It uses standard 35mm film behind a 38-145mm equivalent zoom lens, autofocus and automatic exposure, and a date/time imprint feature that stamps frames as they are shot. Power comes from a lithium battery and film loading, advance and rewind are all automated.

The long zoom for a compact of its class made it useful for portraits and distant subjects without switching cameras, though slower apertures at the telephoto end mean a flash or bright light is often needed for sharp results indoors.
