Hanimex marketed the Hanimar 135mm f/3.5 as the budget telephoto prime in its own-brand lens range, sold alongside the brighter f/2.8 version through photographic-retail and mail-order channels across the UK, Europe and Australasia from the 1970s into the early 1980s.
As a slower, simpler design than its f/2.8 sibling, it was built to a tighter cost target while covering the same 135mm focal length, supplied as a manual-focus, manual-aperture prime across several common SLR mounts and made for Hanimex by a contracted Japanese optical house. Element count, weight and filter thread are not confirmed from available sources.
It behaves as a modest performer: acceptable sharpness from f/5.6, mild vignetting wide open, and the lower contrast typical of budget independent telephotos before better coatings became standard.
