Hasselblad's CF long telephoto — the T*-coated Zeiss Tele-Tessar CF 350mm f/5.6 for the 6x6 V system.
The Carl Zeiss Tele-Tessar CF 350mm f/5.6 is a long telephoto for the Hasselblad V system in CF form, with the Prontor CF leaf shutter, rubberised rings and T* multicoating. The Tele-Tessar design gives a physically shorter barrel than the focal length would otherwise require, and it was one of the longest reach options in the leaf-shutter line for the 6x6 format.
This is a manual-focus Hasselblad V lens with a built-in leaf shutter, the CF design giving separate aperture and shutter rings and an F setting for focal-plane-shutter bodies. Its maximum aperture is f/5.6 and it covers the 6x6 frame as a Tele-Tessar with T* coating. It is a large, heavy lens that benefits from firm support, and it was often used with teleconverters to extend its reach further.
The 350mm gives strong magnification and compression for distant subjects, making it a choice for wildlife, sport, distant landscape and any work needing reach on the large square frame. The telephoto design keeps the barrel manageable for the focal length, and the T* coating holds contrast at distance, so it served photographers who needed to pull in far subjects that the 250mm could not reach.
The CF 350mm is less common than the shorter telephotos and commands higher used prices as a specialist long lens. Confirm the CF leaf shutter runs cleanly at all speeds and that the C/F selector works, then check the large glass for haze, fungus and separation and the T* coating for cleaning marks. Verify the focus helicoid and aperture ring are smooth and the blades dry, and inspect the tripod foot and mount for wear from the lens weight.
