Konica's AR tele macro — the 105mm f/4 Macro-Hexanon, more working distance for close-ups.
The Konica Macro-Hexanon AR 105mm f/4 was the telephoto macro prime for the Konica AR bayonet, giving more working distance than the 55mm macro for close-up work on the Autoreflex system. It sat as the longer of Konica's two AR macros, useful where a subject could not be approached closely.
This is a manual-focus Konica AR macro lens with a 105mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f/4. Its longer focal length increases the camera-to-subject distance at a given magnification. Reproduction ratio, element count and filter thread are not verified here and are left out rather than guessed.
A 105mm macro is well suited to nature close-ups, insects and small subjects that need to be kept at arm's length, and it doubles as a short portrait tele at normal distances. The extra working distance over a 55mm macro helps with lighting and avoids disturbing live subjects.
Tele macro Hexanons are less common than the 55mm and are valued by close-up shooters, so expect a firmer price. Inspect the glass for haze and fungus, run the long macro helicoid through its full travel to check for smoothness, and confirm the aperture is oil-free. It adapts cleanly to mirrorless via an AR adapter.
