Laowa's cine ultra-wide for MFT — the 9mm with zero distortion in cinema housing.

The Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine is a cinema-optimised version of Laowa's zero-distortion ultra-wide prime for Micro Four Thirds. At 9mm on MFT, it provides an 18mm equivalent with virtually zero barrel distortion — keeping straight lines straight even at the extreme edge. The cinema version adds geared focus ring and T-stop marking.

Optical performance follows Laowa's ultra-wide expertise. The near-zero distortion at 9mm on MFT is the primary achievement. Sharpness is good in the centre and respectable when stopped down. The T2.9 rating is relatively fast for an ultra-wide cinema lens. The zero-distortion correction is particularly valuable for architectural and real estate videography.
