Leica's latest M rangefinder — 60.3MP full-frame with USB-C, internal storage, and no base plate.
The Leica M11 was released in 2022 as Leica's flagship digital M-series rangefinder, featuring a 60MP BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with triple resolution modes (60MP, 36MP, 18MP). No base plate for simplified battery/card access. USB-C charging. At approximately 530g. Leica M mount.
60MP full-frame BSI CMOS. Triple resolution: 60MP, 36MP, 18MP. Electronic shutter to 1/16000s; mechanical shutter. No base plate (bottom loading replaced with side door). USB-C charging. 64GB internal storage. BP-SCL7 battery. At approximately 530g. Leica M mount.
The M11 is the most significant redesign of the M digital body since the M9: the BSI sensor provides improved dynamic range and low-light performance. Removal of the traditional base plate simplifies battery and card access versus all previous M digital models. Triple resolution enables smaller files from the same 60MP sensor.
On the used market the Leica M11 is available at Leica M digital body pricing. Condition checks: sensor for dust, USB-C port condition, battery health, rangefinder calibration. Compatible with all Leica M-mount lenses.
