f/2.8 maximum aperture. 100mm focal length (full-frame). Macro close-focus capability. ROM electronic coupling (R8/R9). Manual focus. At approximately 520g. 60mm filter thread. Leica R mount.

The 100mm focal length provides practical working distance between lens and subject for macro photography — more useful than 60mm for subjects that require space for lighting or approach. Also functions as a portrait telephoto at infinity focus. For adapted mirrorless macro use, extension rings may be needed to reach full 1:1 magnification.
