The Leica Q2 Reporter Edition is a special variant of the Q2 with a matte dark green Kevlar-like exterior coating designed for durability in field conditions. The coating is scratch and abrasion resistant — designed for working photojournalists.

Identical specification to the standard Q2 — same 47.3MP full-frame sensor, Summilux 28mm f/1.7 lens, IP52 weather sealing, and phase-detect AF. The Reporter designation in Leica's range indicates field-ready durability.
