The Minolta MD 24mm f/2.8 is a wide-angle prime lens for the Minolta SR/MD mount system, offering a dramatic perspective for landscape, architecture, and environmental photography. The MD designation indicates the later, more compact design with improved coatings that deliver enhanced contrast and colour accuracy over earlier MC versions.

Optical quality is very good with sharp centre performance wide open and excellent overall sharpness stopped down.
