The Nikon AF DC Nikkor 105mm f/2D is one of photography's most unique lenses — a 105mm portrait prime with a Defocus Control (DC) ring that adjusts the quality of out-of-focus areas. The DC ring shifts spherical aberration to control bokeh character.

Optically distinctive — sharp from f/2.8 with the DC ring enabling adjustment of background and foreground bokeh quality. Set DC to match the f-stop for smoother backgrounds, or rotate opposite for harder-edged bokeh. The f/2 at 105mm provides excellent subject isolation.

Nikon F mount with 72mm filter thread. Approximately 640g. D-type distance communication. Body-driven screw AF. Full-frame coverage. DC ring is the unique feature — no other lens offers this level of bokeh control. Minimum focus distance 90cm.
