The 20mm f/1.8G provides the widest fast prime in the Nikon FX prime lineup: the combination of 20mm ultra-wide perspective and f/1.8 enables astrophotography, interiors, and low-light environmental photography with selective focus at the wide end. At 269g it is significantly lighter than comparable 20mm f/1.8 primes. The 0.20m MFD enables extreme foreground proximity.
