The Nikon Coolpix P610 launched in 2015 as a 60x bridge camera covering 24-1440mm equivalent — between the P600 (60x) and the extreme P900 (83x). It provided GPS, WiFi, and NFC at a moderate price point.

Uses a 16MP 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor. 60x zoom with Dual Detect VR. Full HD 1080p video. Built-in GPS and WiFi. The 60x range covers standard through extreme telephoto. Snap-back zoom for subject recovery.

Built-in EVF plus 3-inch vari-angle LCD. 24-1440mm f/3.3-6.5 Nikkor zoom. GPS, WiFi, NFC. 565g. Snap-back zoom. The P900 extended to 83x and the P1000 to 125x for those wanting more reach.
