The Nikon F2 Photomic A is a 35mm SLR film camera with the Photomic A metering prism finder. The F2 was Nikon's professional flagship SLR from approximately 1971 to 1980. Photomic A prism = AI (Aperture Indexing) coupled exposure meter. Nikon F mount.

The Photomic A prism enables Aperture Indexing (AI) — the lens aperture ring position is read directly by the metering coupling tab, enabling accurate exposure metering. The F2's titanium shutter runs without battery — only the Photomic A metering requires power. Compatible with all Nikon F-mount AI and Ai-S lenses at full metering capability.
