The Nikon Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 Ai-S is a manual-focus full-frame wide prime for Nikon F-mount with Close Range Correction (CRC) floating element design. Nine elements in 9 groups. Seven aperture blades. 52mm filter thread. At 275g. 0.30m MFD.

The CRC (Close Range Correction) floating element compensates for field curvature and aberrations that increase at close focus distances on wide-angle designs: as the lens focuses closer, the floating element moves independently to maintain optical correction quality near the 0.30m minimum distance. The 24mm perspective is a natural wide-angle for architectural and environmental photography.
