The Olympus E-420 is an entry-level Four Thirds DSLR from Olympus's E-series, released approximately 2008. An update to the E-410 with improved sensor and features. Four Thirds mount.

The E-420 updated the E-410 with face detection and a slightly improved sensor. The compact Four Thirds body design and Live View make it practical for general photography. Four Thirds lenses provide a range of focal lengths for the system.
