Olympus's 1997 35mm film bridge ZLR — a 28-110mm zoom in the amateur iS line (iS-20 in the US).
The Olympus iS-200 is a 35mm film bridge camera (ZLR) released in 1997 in Olympus's amateur iS line, above the iS-100 and iS-100s. It was sold as the iS-20 in the US market, with a fixed power-zoom lens in an SLR-style body and automatic operation.
It is a fully automatic 35mm film SLR with a built-in 28-110mm zoom. It provides program autoexposure, autofocus, a built-in flash and motorised film transport. The zoom is fixed, so there is no interchangeable mount.
The iS-200 refines the amateur iS formula with the same 28-110mm range in an updated body, sitting between the entry iS-100 and the later iS-300. It suits everyday and travel film photography with SLR-style handling and a wide-to-short-tele range.
It is a budget late-1990s bridge camera used. Condition checks: zoom-motor travel, autofocus accuracy, flash, film transport and foam light seals. The iS-300 is the final refinement of the line; the iS-1000 adds manual exposure input.
