The Olympus Zuiko 135mm f/4.5 Macro is a dedicated telephoto macro lens for the OM mount system. At 135mm, it provides significantly more working distance than the common 50mm and 90mm macros — invaluable for photographing skittish insects and small subjects that would be disturbed by closer approach. The f/4.5 aperture is modest but adequate for macro work.

Optical performance at macro distances is excellent. The lens is optimised for close-range photography with flat-field correction for reproducing flat subjects. Sharpness at macro range is outstanding. The 135mm focal length provides comfortable working distance — approximately twice that of a 50mm macro — essential for insect and wildlife close-up photography.

Olympus OM mount, manual focus. Filter thread is 49mm — standard OM size. Weight is approximately 420 grams. Build quality is excellent with precision metal construction.
