Olympus's original Four Thirds telephoto — basic 80-300mm equiv for the pioneering 4/3 system.
The Olympus Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 is an early telephoto zoom for the original Four Thirds system, covering 80-300mm equivalent. It was one of the first lenses for the pioneering Four Thirds digital standard.
Optically basic — acceptable for the early Four Thirds era. Variable f/3.5-4.5. The 80-300mm equivalent provides useful telephoto reach. Part of the original Four Thirds lens ecosystem that preceded Micro Four Thirds.
Four Thirds mount — requires MMF adapter for MFT bodies. Basic construction. The Four Thirds system was one of the first designed specifically for digital sensors rather than adapted from film formats.
Available used for almost nothing. The Four Thirds mount requires an adapter on MFT — the MFT 40-150mm versions are more practical. Historical interest as early Four Thirds glass. Any modern MFT telephoto is dramatically better.
