The 17mm focal length provides a 34mm full-frame equivalent — a moderately tight documentary and street perspective between standard wide and normal. The Snap MF focus clutch mechanism continues from the original, enabling zone focusing by pulling the focus ring back to a distance-scale manual focus mode.
