The OM System Tough TG-7 launched in 2023 as the latest in the TG rugged compact line, now under the OM System brand rather than Olympus. It maintains the extreme toughness — waterproof to 15m, shockproof, freezeproof — with updated processing.

Uses a 12MP 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor with f/2.0 wide-angle lens (25-100mm equiv f/2-4.9). 4K 30p video. RAW shooting. Microscope mode for extreme close-ups to 1cm. Field sensors including GPS, compass, altimeter, and thermometer.
