Panasonic G3 MFT with touch AF and EVF, capable early mirrorless with stabilised zoom at budget pricing.

The Panasonic Lumix G3 with 14-42mm O.I.S. is an early MFT mirrorless kit from 2011 featuring a 16-megapixel sensor, touch AF, and a built-in electronic viewfinder. The G3 improved significantly over earlier Panasonic MFT bodies with faster AF and the touch-enabled screen.

The 14-42mm stabilised zoom covers 28-84mm equivalent for everyday shooting, and the G3's touchscreen AF enabled tap-to-focus operation that was advanced for 2011. The built-in EVF provides eye-level composition, and the articulating screen enables creative angles.

Build quality is compact Panasonic with quality construction and the integrated EVF that distinguishes it from screen-only alternatives. The MFT mount provides access to the growing Panasonic and Olympus lens ecosystem.
