Panasonic's ultra-tiny MFT camera — selfie-oriented 16MP with no viewfinder, one of the smallest ILCs.
The Panasonic Lumix GX800 (GX850 in some markets) launched in 2017 as one of Panasonic's most compact Micro Four Thirds cameras. At approximately 204g, it targeted social media creators and casual users wanting interchangeable-lens quality in a tiny package.
The 16MP Live MOS sensor delivers decent MFT image quality. 49-area contrast-detect AF. 5.8fps burst. 4K 30p video. 4K Photo mode. Post Focus. Touch AF and shutter. Simplified operation aimed at beginners and social media creators.
Ultra-compact body at ~204g. 3-inch tilting touchscreen for selfies. No EVF. No flash. WiFi. Micro Four Thirds mount. Single microSD card slot. USB 2.0 charging. Beauty mode and self-shot features.
Available used very cheaply. No viewfinder and minimal controls limit it for serious photography. The 4K video is a plus. Pairs best with ultra-compact MFT lenses like the 12-32mm or 14mm pancake. A fun compact ILC for social media and casual use.
