Panasonic's standard zoom for L-Mount — constant f/4 from 24-105mm with OIS and macro capability.

The Panasonic Lumix S 24-105mm f/4 O.I.S. launched in 2019 as the workhorse standard zoom for the L-Mount system, covering 24-105mm at constant f/4 with OIS stabilisation. It was one of the first L-mount zoom lenses available.

Optically good — sharp throughout with consistent f/4 aperture. OIS provides stabilisation, enhanced with Dual I.S. 2 on compatible bodies. Macro mode at 105mm provides 0.5x magnification — unusual for a standard zoom. Good for hybrid shooting.

L-Mount with 77mm filter thread. Approximately 680g — moderate for full-frame 24-105mm. Dust and splash resistant. OIS stabilisation. Macro mode to 0.5x. Minimum focus distance 30cm. L-Mount Alliance compatible.

Available used at mid-range prices. A solid workhorse zoom — the 24-105mm range with constant f/4 and macro is versatile. The Sigma 24-105mm f/4 Art is an alternative for L-Mount. For L-Mount users wanting a versatile standard zoom.
