The Pentax K-70 was released approximately 2016 as a weather-sealed APS-C DSLR for Pentax K-mount featuring a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and 5-axis Shake Reduction (SR) IBIS. Limited 4K video capability. At approximately 688g with battery. 100-seal weather sealing.

The K-70 provides Pentax's entry-level weather-resistant APS-C DSLR: the 100-seal weather sealing enables outdoor use in rain and dust conditions. The 4K video mode operates at 15fps — primarily a marketing feature; 1080p/60fps is the practical video mode.
