The Pentax SMC 67 150mm f/2.8 is a fast medium format portrait lens designed for the Pentax 6x7 and 67 camera systems. On the 6x7 format, 150mm provides roughly the same field of view as a 75mm lens on 35mm film — the classic portrait focal length. It is widely regarded as one of the finest portrait lenses ever made in any format.

Optical performance is exceptional. Sharpness is outstanding from f/2.8 with a smooth, creamy rendering that flatters skin tones. The combination of f/2.8 speed on medium format creates extraordinarily shallow depth of field that no 35mm or digital full-frame system can replicate. Bokeh is famously beautiful — smooth, rounded, and three-dimensional.

Pentax 67 mount, designed for the Pentax 6x7 and 67/67II cameras. Filter thread is 67mm. Weight is approximately 790 grams. Build quality is superb with all-metal construction and SMC multi-coating. Manual focus only with a beautifully damped focusing ring. The lens also works on Pentax 645 systems with an adapter, though with cropping.
