The SMC Pentax-M 35mm f/2 is a compact wide-angle prime from Pentax's M series, designed alongside the ultra-compact ME and MX camera bodies. The M series prioritised minimal size and weight while retaining Pentax's Super Multi Coating for optical quality.

35mm focal length, f/2 maximum aperture, SMC (Super Multi Coated), Pentax K bayonet mount, compact M-series design, 49mm filter thread.

The M 35mm f/2 provides a useful wide-angle perspective with a reasonably fast aperture for available-light photography. Sharpness is good from f/2.8 and excellent from f/5.6.
