Polaroid's premium Spectra camera — the Image Elite with improved features.
The Polaroid Image Elite is the premium version of the Image series, adding features such as the Spectra/Image film format with slightly larger print size or enhanced optics over the standard Image Camera. The Elite designation indicates a top-tier consumer model.
The Image Elite uses Image/Spectra-type film (which is larger than 600-type, producing approximately 9x7cm prints), provides enhanced optics, autofocus, and built-in flash. The larger Spectra/Image format is distinct from the 600-film family.
The Spectra/Image film format is currently manufactured by Polaroid Originals, giving the Image Elite practical current usability. The larger print size compared to 600-type cameras is a meaningful differentiation for portrait and social photography.
Verify whether this uses 600 or Spectra/Image film format from the camera markings. Test film transport and AF operation. Check film door seals. Spectra/Image format film is available from Polaroid Originals.
