Second-generation GR Digital of 2007 — 10MP CCD and the same pocketable 28mm formula.
The 2007 Ricoh GR Digital II refined the original GRD with a 10.1MP CCD, faster RAW writing, and the same fixed 28mm-equivalent f/2.4 GR lens in a pocket magnesium shell.
It adds a 2.7-inch LCD, electronic level, 1:1 square format mode, and noticeably quicker DNG capture over the original, while keeping the front-dial manual control layout.
Its role in the line is the polished CCD classic: many street shooters consider the II the sweet spot of the small-sensor GRD era, prized today for its distinctive high-contrast black and white files.
Check lens retraction for dust and squeaks, hot shoe corrosion, and LCD scratches. Sellers write GRD II, GRDII or GRD 2 — all the same camera; the 10.1MP spec separates it from the 8.1MP original.
