Second-generation entry Theta — 4K 360 video with self-timer face on the body.
The 2019 Ricoh Theta SC2 brought 4K 360 video to the entry tier: the consumer Theta with the video chops that previously required the V.
It shoots 14.4MP spherical stills and 4K/30 360 video through twin f/2.0 fisheyes, adds a small status OLED, face-detection and night modes, 14GB of storage, and app control over Wi-Fi.
Its appeal is price-to-capability: for casual 360 work and virtual tours it delivers most of the V's output at the SC's price point, which made it the volume seller of the line.
Plentiful used; check both protruding lenses for scratches, confirm the sealed battery holds charge, and note the business-oriented 'SC2 for Business' variant differs only in bundled app features.
