The Symmar-S 210mm f/5.6 is a longer-normal lens in Schneider-Kreuznach's 1961 Symmar-S range, sized to act as a standard lens on 5x7 inch cameras and as a portrait/detail lens on 4x5. It was later carried forward in updated form as the Apo-Symmar.

It shares the six-element, four-group symmetrical plasmat construction of the family, multi-coated, in a Copal 1 shutter with a 67mm filter thread. Image circle is approximately 295mm at f/22, enough for full 5x7 coverage with useful movements and modest 4x5 shift.
