Sigma's diagonal fisheye for full-frame — 15mm f/2.8 with 180° coverage and DG full-frame optimisation.
The Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye is a full-frame diagonal fisheye providing 180 degrees of corner-to-corner coverage. Unlike the circular 8mm f/3.5, this fills the full frame with the characteristic fisheye barrel distortion.
Optically good for a fisheye — sharp in the centre with EX-grade construction. The f/2.8 aperture is relatively fast for a fisheye — useful for astrophotography. DG designation means full-frame optimised. Gelatin filter holder at rear.
Available for multiple DSLR mounts. Bulbous front element — no standard filter thread. Rear gel filter holder. Approximately 370g — compact. EX build quality. Full-frame coverage with 180° diagonal. Minimum focus distance 15cm.
Available used at budget to mid-range prices. The 180° diagonal fisheye fills the entire frame — more practical than circular fisheye for most creative uses. The f/2.8 is useful for night sky fisheye photography. For creative and astrophotography applications.
