Sigma's fast 23mm for Fuji X — the DC DN Contemporary providing 35mm equivalent at f/1.4.

The Sigma 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary for Fujifilm X is the Fuji mount version of Sigma's latest APS-C fast prime described generically under ID 3591. Providing a 35mm equivalent at f/1.4, it covers the classic street photography perspective with fast speed. Quiet stepping motor AF. The DC DN line has established itself as the APS-C prime benchmark.

Optical performance is excellent. Sharpness is very good from f/1.4 and outstanding by f/2. Nine rounded blades produce smooth bokeh. Stepping motor AF is quiet and fast. The 35mm equivalent is one of the most useful wide-angle perspectives. The DC DN quality in this focal length provides genuine fast-prime capability for Fuji X shooters.

Fujifilm X mount. Filter thread is 52mm. Weight is approximately 240 grams — very compact. Build quality is good Contemporary tier with metal mount. No weather sealing. The same optical design across all mount versions. Compatible with Fuji's face and eye detection AF systems.
