Sirui's full-frame anamorphic — 50mm T2.9 with 1.6x squeeze for full-frame cinematic widescreen.

The Sirui 50mm T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic is a compact anamorphic cinema prime in Canon RF mount from Sirui's anamorphic lens range. Designed for widescreen letterbox framing and characteristic anamorphic optical signatures in digital filmmaking on Canon EOS R-series full-frame bodies.

T2.9 maximum aperture. 50mm focal length. 1.6× anamorphic squeeze ratio — producing a widescreen 2.4:1 aspect ratio from a standard 16:9 sensor frame when de-squeezed. Canon RF mount. Cinema mechanics: 0.8mm-pitch focus gear ring, de-clicked aperture ring. Oval bokeh and horizontal anamorphic lens flare at high-contrast light sources.

The 1.6× squeeze is between the traditional cinema 2× anamorphic and the 1.33× used in Scope-from-16:9 productions. On a standard 16:9 sensor, 1.6× squeeze produces approximately a 2.4:1 widescreen ratio — close to the cinema 2.39:1 Scope format. The 50mm focal length provides a normal field of view before horizontal de-squeeze. Requires de-squeezing in post or via in-camera preview setting.
