The Sony FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA Planar T* was released approximately 2016 as a native full-frame Sony FE-mount prime co-developed with Zeiss under the ZA (Zeiss Alpha) designation. The Planar T* branding indicates a Zeiss double-Gauss optical design with T* anti-reflection coating. Sony FE mount.
