The Sony FX30 launched in 2022 as the most affordable Sony Cinema Line camera, using a 26MP APS-C sensor with S-Cinetone colour science. It brings Cinema Line video capability to APS-C — ideal for content creators stepping up from consumer cameras.

The 26MP APS-C Exmor R CMOS sensor with dual base ISO at 800/2500. Records 4K 120p 10-bit 4:2:2 internal. S-Cinetone colour profile. 759-point phase-detect AF with real-time tracking — inherited from the A6000 series. Active cooling for extended recording.

Sony E-mount with APS-C coverage. Compact body at 562g with active cooling fan. No EVF — relies on rear touchscreen and optional XLR handle with LCD. XLR audio via optional handle. Dual CFexpress Type A / SD slots. USB-C.
