Tamron 80-250mm f/3.8-4.5 — first-generation Adaptall telephoto zoom (CZ-825), multi-mount fit

Tamron's 80-250mm f/3.8-4.5 telephoto zoom belongs to the original Adaptall mount system, sold as model CZ-825 from 1976 and updated as QZ-250M in 1978, before the Adaptall-2 revision replaced the range in 1979. It was one of Tamron's longer telephoto zoom options of the mid-1970s.

The lens uses first-generation Adaptall adapters, offered for Canon FD, Nikon F, Minolta MD, Olympus OM, Pentax K, Konica AR and the M42 screw mount that remained common on Praktica and some Pentax bodies through the decade. Maximum aperture varies from f/3.8 at 80mm to f/4.5 at the long end.
