Vivitar ViviCam 7025 — budget digital compact with digital zoom and SD storage, c.2010
The Vivitar ViviCam 7025 is a fixed-lens digital compact from Sakar International's Vivitar-branded ViviCam range, dated by its manual to 2010 and sold as an affordable point-and-shoot through mainstream retail channels.
The camera records still images with a default 3-megapixel setting when no memory card is fitted, plus higher-resolution modes with an SD card installed, and captures video in AVI format. It stores images to SD cards up to 32GB and runs on three AAA batteries, with a macro mode usable down to around 80cm.
Flash options include auto, forced, red-eye reduction and off, and the camera relies entirely on digital zoom, keeping operation simple at the cost of any real telephoto reach or low-light capability.
Used 7025 units are inexpensive and plentiful online. Worth checking the AAA battery terminals for corrosion, confirming the SD card slot and USB port function, and setting expectations for basic snapshot-quality results only.
