Vivitar ViviCam F332 — budget CMOS compact with face detection and digital zoom, c.2010
The Vivitar ViviCam F332 is a fixed-lens digital compact from Sakar International's CMOS-sensor ViviCam range, dated by its manual to 2010 and pitched as an inexpensive everyday camera through general retail.
The camera's CMOS sensor supports still resolutions up to 4416 x 3312 (12M) alongside several lower interpolated settings, stores images internally or to SD cards up to 32GB, and runs on three AAA batteries. Zoom is digital only and screen size is not specified in the manual.
Features include face detection, smile capture, macro mode, self-timer and basic anti-shake processing, plus multiple scene modes, all aimed at foolproof automatic shooting rather than photographic control.
These cameras are common and cheap on the secondhand market. Check the AAA battery terminals for corrosion, confirm the SD slot and USB connection work, and expect the softness typical of small interpolated-resolution sensors.
