Voigtlander's fast 28mm for Nikon Z — the Nokton f/1.5 with electronic communication.

The Voigtlander Nokton 28mm f/1.5 Aspherical for Nikon Z is the Z-mount version of Voigtlander's ultra-fast 28mm, also available in Leica M (IDs 3481, 3914). At f/1.5, it remains the fastest 28mm available for any mirrorless mount. The Nikon Z version adds electronic communication for EXIF data and aperture control, and benefits from body VR stabilisation.

Optical performance is excellent. Sharpness is very good from f/1.5, outstanding by f/2.8. The aspherical element controls aberrations effectively. Bokeh is smooth. The Z-mount version benefits from the short flange distance for potential optical optimisation. The electronic communication with Z bodies adds genuine practical value to the manual focus experience.
